Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced, peeled carrots
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    3 c. herb flavor bread stuffing
    1/3 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook carrots until crisp-tender; drain.
    Meanwhile, cook onion in 3 tablespoons butter until just soft.
    Stir in soup (undiluted), salt, pepper, cheese and cooked carrots.
    Place in a greased 2-quart casserole.
    Toss bread stuffing mix with 1/3 cup melted butter.
    Spoon over carrots.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until heated through, about 20 minutes.
    Serves 6.
