Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 large pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling
    4 small bananas, thin sliced
    1 (8 or 9-inch) sponge cake
    1 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Filling:
    Cook pudding mix according to directions on package, using the 1 1/2 cups milk.
    Remove from heat.
    Cover with plastic wrap to help keep a skin from forming.
    Refrigerate until cool, then stir in bananas.
