Mock Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. dark Karo syrup
    2 c. white sugar
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil; cook about 5 minutes.
    Pour into jar and store in refrigerator.
    Makes good ice cream topping or as honey on toast or biscuits.
