Laura'S Pea Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. whole green split peas, washed and drained
1 pkg. dried split pea soup mix with seasoning packet
1 onion
3 carrots, peeled and sliced
4 celery stalks, diced
2 vegetable bouillon cubes
4 qt. water
Preparation

Put all ingredients into a large stock pot.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Add more water if soup becomes too thick.
Puree the vegetables or leave as is.
Either way is delicious.
Serve with croutons.
