The Family Fudge(Since The 1800'S) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. whole milk
    1 ball butter (size of walnut)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring sugar and milk to boil, stirring well.
    Reduce heat just to maintain a good bubbling boil for 7 1/2 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add butter.
    Stir to cool slightly before adding vanilla. Beat lustily until thickening begins and texture becomes smooth. Pour into buttered 8-inch pie pan.
    Mark and cut when set.
