Treasure Chest Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 unbeaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. milk
1 c. nuts, broken in large pieces
1 c. well drained cherries, cut up
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Cream together the brown sugar, white sugar and butter.
Blend in the unbeaten eggs.
Beat well after each egg.
Add the vanilla; beat until fluffy, then add flour mixture with 3/4 cup milk.
Begin and end with flour.
Blend well after each addition.
Stir in the nuts, cherries and chocolate chips.
Grease and flour bottom of jelly roll pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Frost while warm.
