Kathy'S Almond Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. Crisco
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    3/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed
    2 tsp. almond flavoring
    1/2 tsp. water
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine and set aside the flour and baking soda.
    Combine the Crisco, granulated sugar, dark brown sugar, almond flavoring and water.
    Beat until creamy. Beat in the eggs. Gradually add to flour mixture and mix well.
    Drop by well rounded half teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass to 1/4-inch thick.
    Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake 6 to 8 minutes.
