Peach Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. peaches (9 medium-large)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. sifted flour
    3 oz. melted unsalted butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Adjust oven rack to be 1/3 down from top of oven and preheat to 400\u00b0.
    Butter an 11 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish and set aside. Blanch and peel peaches.
    Cut in half and remove pits, then cut halves into wide slices.
    You should have 6 cups of sliced peaches.
    Place in wide bowl.
    Combine lemon juice and vanilla and drizzle over peaches; toss gently.
    Place peaches in baking dish.
