Holland Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla flavor
    1 small can Angel Flake coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
    5 eggs
Preparation
    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until smooth.
    Add egg yolks, beating constantly.
    Add flour and soda to mixture.
    Add vanilla and buttermilk. Mix coconut and nuts and fold in egg whites.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 minutes in 9-inch pans.
    Makes 3 layers.
