Aunt Flossie'S Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add grated lemon rind, flour, salt, baking powder, eggs and milk.
    Mix and bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes in greased and floured pan.
