Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add vanilla and egg. Beat well.
Add dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Add chocolate chips. Form into balls and bake in preheated oven, 8 to 10 minutes. Yields 3 dozen, approximately.
