Mulled Berry Cider - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 whole black peppercorns
6 whole allspice
6 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks (3-inch each)
4 qt. apple cider
2 qt. cranberry juice
Preparation

Tie spices
together
in
cheesecloth,
leaving
a good length of string
on the end.
Pour cider/cranberry juice into large pot. Add
cheesecloth
spice bag; let extra string hang over the pot. Bring
to a boil slowly, then reduce to simmer, keeping
pot partially
covered.
Ladle
out
all
afternoon. Yields 24 cups. Great at Christmas!
