Sweet And Sour Swiss Chard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. torn Swiss chard
6 slices turkey bacon
1/2 c. sliced green onion tops
4 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Place chard in a large bowl; set aside.
Cook turkey bacon until crisp.
Drain, crumble and set aside.
In same skillet, cook onion until tender, but not brown.
Blend in sugar, flour and salt.
Stir in water and vinegar.
Cook until thick and bubbly. Pour the hot mixture over the chard, tossing to coat.
Sprinkle with bacon.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
