Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes or 8 medium potatoes, boiled the day before, peeled and sliced
    1/3 c. onion
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    bread crumbs or chips
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together well, except potatoes.
    Add potatoes.
    Pour into a 2 1/2-quart buttered casserole dish.
    Top with bread crumbs or chips.
    Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Serve hot.
