Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 qt. sliced apples
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. cornstarch
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    10 c. water
    2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, cornstarch, water and lemon juice.
    Cool this only until it starts to thicken. Pour over apples in jars, leaving 1 1/2-inches from top for swelling.
    Seal. Process in hot water bath for 25 minutes.
