Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
Preparation

Cream butter; blend together sugar and cornstarch and add eggs one at a time.
Beat mixture well; add vanilla.
Pour into pie crust that has been baked 5 minutes in a 450\u00b0 oven.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until firm, about 45 minutes.
