Potato Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. grated cheese
2 onions, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper
2 c. chicken broth
6 large potatoes, cooked or raw, diced
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 c. half and half
Preparation

Saute celery and onions in butter for five minutes.
Add broth and spices (and potatoes if you are using raw).
Simmer until vegetables are tender.
Stir in half and half.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Makes 2 quarts.
If you want a smoother soup, put ingredients in blender before you add half and half and cheese.
