Strawberry Sorbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pt. fresh or frozen strawberries
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    In food processor or blender, puree strawberries.
    In large saucepan, over medium-high heat, combine strawberry puree with 4 cups water and sugar.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cook 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly.
    Stir in lemon juice.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool thoroughly.
    Pour mixture into 8-inch pan.
    Freeze 3 to 4 hours or until firm.
    With spoon, break frozen mixture into chunks.
    Transfer to large bowl.
    Beat with mixer until smooth. Return to pan and freeze 2 to 3 hours until firm.
    Yields 16 servings (88 calories and 0.3 g fat per serving).
