Zippy Potato Skins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large baking potatoes
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 to 3 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Thoroughly scrub potatoes with brush under cold water.
Pat them dry.
Prick each potato with fork. Bake 1 hour or until tender.
In small bowl, mix together melted butter and hot pepper sauce; set aside.
Cut each potato in half lengthwise and scoop out pulp using a spoon.
Leave about 1/4-inch thick shell; reserve potato pulp for other use.
Cut each potato shell lengthwise into 1-inch wide strips.
Place potato skin strips on baking sheet.
Broil the potato skins 3 to 4 inches from heat source for about 5 minutes or until crisp or bake in oven at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, until crisp.
Take out.
Brush with butter mixture.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Put back into oven until cheese melts.
Then pull out.
Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
