Spicy Parsley Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 to 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
    2 medium tomatoes, peeled, seeded and pureed
    1/4 c. very finely minced fresh parsley
Preparation
    Place the minced onion in a bowl.
    Sprinkle onto the onion, the next five ingredients.
    Stir, cover with vinegar.
    Let stand 1 to 2 hours to blend flavors.
    Drain, and discard vinegar.
    Add tomatoes and parsley.
    Serve with roasted or barbecued meats and fish.
