Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. boiling water
2 to 4 c. salted red Spanish peanuts
1 Tbsp. soda
Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup and water until it forms a soft ball when tried in water (236\u00b0).
Add peanuts and cook until mixture is amber colored (294\u00b0).
Remove from heat and add soda; stir thoroughly.
Pour on greased tin or dish.
When cool, break into uneven pieces.
