Sweet And Sour Liver - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    liver, cut into bite-sized cubes
    salt and pepper to taste
    flour
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 medium onion, diced
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. water
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. catsup
Preparation
    Salt and pepper liver and roll in flour.
    Brown in skillet in shortening, turning until all sides are browned.
    Add onion to liver.
    Mix vinegar, water, sugar and catsup.
    Pour over liver. Cover and simmer until onion is tender and liquid is thickened. Serve plain or over rice.
