Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until very stiff.
    Add gradually and beat well until absorbed and glossy 1/2 cup sugar. Fold in chopped nuts.
    Bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0 in 8-inch pie plate. Build up sides as much as possible.
