Cream Of Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh crabmeat
    1/4 c. onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    dash of mace
    1/2 tsp. hot sauce
    1 can evaporated skim milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. skim milk
    1/4 c. dry sherry
    2 tsp. minced chives
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine. Stir in Beau Monde and next 4 ingredients. Cook, stirring constantly, until it begins to boil. Combine cornstarch and 2 cups skim milk gradually.
    Add to hot mixture. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook 1 minute. Reduce heat and stir in crabmeat and sherry. Yields 5 cups.
