1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
1/2 c. smooth peanut butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 Tbsp. sugar
48 candy kisses
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a medium bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, egg, vanilla and salt.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add flour and baking soda, mixing until blended.
Shape dough into 48 balls using a rounded teaspoonful for each.
Roll balls in the 3 tablespoons sugar and place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
Immediately top each cookie with a candy kiss, carefully press into cookie.
