Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    1 egg
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. light brown sugar, lightly packed
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Blend oil and brown sugar.
    Beat in egg. Sift dry ingredients and stir in vanilla and nuts.
    (I mix nuts with flour mixture.)
    Spread in pan, bake 30 minutes. When slightly cool, cut in squares.
