Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter or shortening
1/2 c. milk
2 c. blueberries
Preparation

Sift flour once; measure and add baking powder and salt and sift again.
Cream butter and sugar gradually and cream together. Add egg and beat.
Add flour alternately with milk in small amounts, beating after each addition until smooth.
This makes a stiff batter.
Fold in berries.
Turn into a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, spreading evenly.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
