Lemon Pie(9-Inch) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten (reserve whites for meringue)
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    2 drops yellow food color (optional)
Preparation
    Bake 9-inch pie shell at 400\u00b0.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together; add water 1/2 cup at a time.
    Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Bring to boil (it will thicken) for 1 minute.
    Pour 1/2 hot mixture into egg yolks; stir well.
    Return mixture to saucepan and boil 1 minute longer.
    Remove from heat; add margarine, lemon juice and food color.
    Stir until blended. Pour into pie shell; let cool.
