Hominy Grits Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk
    2/3 c. grits
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    salt
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cook milk and grits until thick, stirring constantly.
    Add butter, sugar and salt.
    Let mixture cool, then add egg yolks beaten and baking powder.
    Beat egg whites stiff, fold in mixture. Put in greased casserole, set pan in warm water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 3/4 to 1 hour.
