My Omi'S Honig Kuchen(Honey Cakes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. honey
    1 lb. sugar
    1 lb. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 lb. chopped pecans
    little citron peeling
    little lemon peeling
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in order given.
    Take small amounts of batter and roll out on floured board to a thickness of 1/8-inch.
    Cut out with cookie cutters and bake at 350\u00b0 until light and puffy.
    Makes a lot of cookies.
    Placed in a large cookie tin, will store indefinitely.
    In fact, the older they get the chewier. On a cold day just before Christmas, they are the best.
