Turkey Meat Balls With Rice Or Egg Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 lb. ground turkey
    1 1/4 c. fresh bread crumbs (2 slices)
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 large clove garlic, finely chopped
    1 tsp. crumbled leaf tarragon
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
    4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
    1 c. chicken broth
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine egg, turkey, crumbs, onion, garlic, 1/2 teaspoon tarragon, 3/4 teaspoon salt, lemon rind and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. With tablespoon, shape into 40 balls.
    Brown half of meat balls in 2 1/2 tablespoons oil in large skillet 6 minutes.
    Remove to platter.
    Brown remainder.
    Saute mushrooms in remaining oil in skillet 2 minutes; add to meat balls.
    Add broth, lemon juice, rest of tarragon, salt and pepper to skillet.
    Boil 1 or 2 minutes.
    Return meat balls and mushrooms to skillet.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
    Add package turkey gravy (optional).
