Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. veal, cubed*
    1/2 lb. pork, cubed*
    1/2 lb. beef, cubed*
    4 Tbsp. molasses
    1 large bunch celery, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
    1 (2 oz.) can mushrooms (optional)
    1 large diced onion
    6 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    1 (10 1/4 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
Preparation
    *May substitute 2 pounds cubed beef.
