German Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
1/4 c. oleo
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 eggs
1 large can evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (8-inch) pie shells, unbaked
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Melt chocolate with oleo over low heat.
Mix together sugar, salt and cornstarch.
Add eggs, beating well.
Mix in chocolate mixture.
Add milk and vanilla, beating well.
Pour into pie shells.
Mix coconut and pecans; sprinkle evenly over pies.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
(Check pies after 20 minutes; cover loosely with foil if tops are browning too quickly.)
