Broccoli Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked and drained thoroughly
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 small can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 small yellow onion, chopped fine and sauteed in a little butter
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 slices white bread, cut into cubes and sauteed in a little butter (use as topping)
Preparation
    Combine everything in a casserole; top with bread cubes and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, uncovered.
