Fruit Cake Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. dates
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    1 c. pecans
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Cut fruit and nuts into large pieces.
    Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon and salt.
    Cream butter and add sugar gradually beating until mixture is light and fluffy.
    Beat eggs into creamed mixture; add fruit and nuts.
    Add dry ingredients; mix well.
    Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Makes 150 cookies.
