Cream Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 flat can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 pkg. clear gelatin
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    2 Tbsp. water
    3 oz. cream cheese
Preparation
    Mix pineapple, sugar, lemon juice and gelatin (mixed in water). Bring to boil; put in refrigerator to congeal.
    Grate cheese and add to mixture with Cool Whip and cream cheese.
    Garnish with grated cheese and cherries.
