Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar
    3 to 4 Tbsp. milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In large bowl with mixer at medium speed (or spoon), beat all ingredients until very smooth, adding milk if necessary to make good spreading consistency.
    Frosts 1 (2 layer) cake or 1 (9 x 13-inch) cake or 1 tube cake or 2 dozen cupcakes.
