Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 eggs
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nuts
    4 c. fresh apples, chopped
    1/2 bag butterscotch morsels
Preparation
    Mix apples and sugar.
    Let stand until sugar has melted.
    Add vanilla, oil and eggs; mix thoroughly.
    Add dry ingredients; stir. Add nuts.
    Mix and sprinkle butterscotch morsels over batter. Pour into oblong baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
