Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. water
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. flour
Preparation

Dissolve 1/4 cup sugar in lemon juice and water.
Cream remaining 1/2 cup sugar with butter until fluffy.
Add eggs; beat until smooth.
Sift flour, measure and sift again with baking powder and salt.
Add to creamed mix alternately with lemonade. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
When cookies cool, put 2 cookies together with Butter Frosting.
