New Potatoes Gruyere - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. new potatoes (24 to 32)
    1/3 c. water
    1 small onion, sliced and separated in rings
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in water until tender, along with onion and salt (set aside).
    Mix last 4 ingredients in saucepan and heat slowly until thick.
    Pour over hot potatoes and serve.
    Yields 8 servings.
