Hamburger Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    2 to 3 potatoes
    1/2 bag frozen peas and carrot slices
    1 + c. water
    basil to taste
Preparation
    Heat water on high in large, deep frying pan on top of stove. Once it boils, add soup mix; stir and add meat.
    Brown meat; do not drain.
    Add cleaned, cut potatoes, frozen vegetables and basil.
    Cover.
    Continue to cook on high, stirring and adding water as needed, until all items are fully cooked, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
