Lost Bread? - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bread
    1 egg
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. milk
    few drops of vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg; add salt, sugar, milk and vanilla.
    Pour into shallow dish; dip bread into mixture and let it absorb as much as possible on both sides.
    Place slices in well-greased pan and put it in hot oven (400\u00b0) until dry and brown.
    Nice served with butter and honey.
