German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. small potatoes
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 level Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 strips bacon, fried crisp
    1/2 c. sugar
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Steam potatoes and slice thin while hot.
    Crumble bacon; set aside.
    Cook onion in bacon fat.
    Stir in vinegar.
    Mix flour, sugar and salt and add to vinegar mixture.
    Cook until dressing thickens a little.
