Ann'S Zabaglione - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Marsala wine
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    4 egg yolks
    strawberries
    dash of salt
    a few drops vanilla
    cinnamon
    wafers (optional)
Preparation
    In the top of a double boiler, combine wine and sugar.
    Place over simmering water (upper pan should not touch water).
    Add egg yolks and salt.
    Using a wire whisk, beat until mixture thickens and mounds (about 8 minutes).
    Beat in the vanilla.
    Serve in a tall glass over the strawberries.
    Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. Serve with wafers, if desired.
    Makes 4 servings.
