Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. rolled oats
Preparation

Mix sugar, butter, milk and cocoa in a saucepan and boil for about 1 minute.
Pour boiled mixture over peanut butter, oats and vanilla in a bowl.
Stir until well mixed.
Drop by teaspoons on waxed paper.
Let stand 2 hours before serving.
The flavor is even better if set for 2 to 3 days.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
