Poppy Seed Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can Solo poppy filling
1 c. margarine or butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add poppy seed filling; blend.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well.
Blend in vanilla and sour cream.
Sift flour, soda and salt.
Add gradually to Solo poppy seed mixture, beating well.
Fold in slightly beaten egg whites.
Pour into greased tube pan (which has bottom lined with wax paper).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Allow to cool about 5 minutes.
Decorate with sifted powdered sugar or drizzle a glaze of powdered sugar and milk fairly thin, over cake.
