English Tea Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2/3 c. butter
1 1/3 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Grease a large cookie sheet.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl or food processor.
Mix. Make a soft dough.
On a floured surface, knead 5 to 6 times.
Roll in 1 large round.
Butter top.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
Cut into 8 wedges.
