Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    4 c. peeled and coarsely ground apples (6)
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. oil
    2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Break the eggs over the apples.
    Mix everything together.
    Pour mixture into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    When cool, top with whipped cream or cream cheese frosting.
    (I prefer the cream cheese or just plain without frosting.)
