Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 lb. round steak
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/4 green pepper, sliced or chopped
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 qt. whole tomato
    flour, salt and pepper
Preparation
    Dredge steak in flour, salt and pepper; brown in oil.
    Add remaining ingredients and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Mushrooms may be added.
