Oven French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter melted
    2 Tbsp. corn syrup
    dash of ground nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 loaf French bread
    5 large (or 6 medium) eggs
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan and spread evenly to cover bottom of pan.
    Slice bread 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick and place over syrup mixture.
    Beat milk, eggs and vanilla together and pour over bread.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.
    Use spatula to remove each slice from pan and turn syrup side up on plates.
